History

Cofemo was founded in 1948 and was the brainchild and inspiration of Sergio Moreschi.
Today the company is a leader in aluminium die-casting and plastic injection moulding for the production of components for the furniture industry.
The experience gained in almost 65 years of activity has enabled the company to develop innovative and high quality solutions to offer its customers.
The core business soon focused on the production of a wide range of components, such as seat bases, standard and customised ergonomic mechanisms, armrests and seats.
The company has always had an eye on the future, but has maintained its origins in Italy where the headquarters in Castegnato houses the entire production linked to aluminium die-casting, plastic component moulding and the various subsequent processes, where Cofemo has total control over the production cycle.
An important part of the Cofemo catalogue, is the inclusion of numerous backrests developed
by the in-house research and development office, which has been and will be in the year to come the fulcrum of Cofemo’s activity, as a reference point for its customers to innovate.
This commitment by Cofemo is designed to enable its partners to have innovative products in terms of both technology and design.
